Eric McCarty M.A. LMFT, BCPC, BCCC
I understand how anxiety provoking meeting a new therapist can be and I do my utmost to provide treatment that is positive, compassionate, and respectful.
I am a Licensed Family Therapist in the State of Utah as well as a Board Certified Clinical Chaplain & Board Certified Pastoral Psychotherapist. As a Board Certified Chaplain and Pastoral Psychotherapist I am trained to assist people of all backgrounds (not just religious folks) deal with issues of grief and loss. As a Licensed Family Therapist I am trained to work with individuals and families. My education is different than a counselor or social worker in that I am trained to focus on the internal cognitive and emotional process of patients as well the relational, interactional process within family systems. I love working with patients and helping them heal, learn, and grow. My experiences is quite diverse and I have helped people struggling with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, addiction, grief, loss, relationship struggle, and much more.
At times, simply dealing with depression, anxiety, or addiction can cause trauma leading to a tremendous sense of loss. If you are ready to take the first steps in addressing these issues give me a call. Together, we can move forward in an environment that is safe and supportive.
